Rigging retainer plug – Bahia & Vago

Rigging retainer plugs are used where “T” terminals are in use to attach rigging through the wall of the mast.

They serve two purposes:
1) To locate the “T” terminal in the mast pocket. When rigging this preventing the “T” terminal either dropping out or twisting & thus perhaps preventing a dropped mast or a kinked & compromised shroud.
2) To reduce or slow the ingress of water into the mast in the event of a capsize.

Two required for the shrouds & two required for the trapeze lines (if fitted).

NB These plugs are too small for the Dart16 which having larger gauge rigging wire requires the larger size.
