Description
Mast step plate – Pico
Black plastic large hole to take mast foot & 2 or 4 holes to screw it to the hull.
Earlier Pico’s – 2 screw holes to secure mast step plate.
Later Pico’s – 4 screw holes to secure mast step plate.
The two additional holes were principally added as a precaution to hold the for’d end of the mast step firmly down & prevent it lifting if the mast is allowed to go too far back before lifting it out of the step when un-stepping the mast.
