Description

Sail & Sport’s stock Vang / Kicking strap secondary line.

Whilst the Laser is both a relatively simple boat & a relatively easy boat to sail it is in fact a very difficult & demanding boat to sail well. That together with its strict one design policy, moderate cost & seemingly endless ability to be sailed just that little bit better has kept sailors busy trying to master it for close on fifty years. During that time it has also helped produce some great sailors. As Robert Scheidt (five Olympic medals, nine Laser world championships) recently said “Every time I go out in my Laser I learn something…”

Whilst, having your Laser effectively rigged will not by itself make you a better sailor it will help you not to be a slow one…

The benefits of having an effectively rigged & set up Laser are that it can short cut the learning process & so more quickly take one to a stage where one is making informed choices rather than guesses…

To begin with an effectively rigged & set up Laser should almost immediately make your Laser more reliable & less prone to capsize. Since not finishing & capsizing are two of the slowest & most frustrating things you can do reducing the incidence of them is, if nothing else, a good start…

Sail & Sport offers a range of stock Laser control systems to help with this process.
