Traveller cleat (Optional) – Laser

This “Optional” traveller cleat (Anthracite/aluminium) can be fitted in place of the “Standard” traveller cleat (silver/aluminium) which in turn replaced the “Classic” traveller cleat (black/plastic).
(The hole spacings are all the same.)

This cleat can be easily recognised by its darker colour which is due to the harder anodizing & the “becket” cutaway in the base.

This cleat has two clear advantages over the “Standard” traveller cleat:
1) It more securely cleats the more slippery Dynema D12- SK78, SK99 & DM20 now in common use as traveller lines. (See: Traveller line (SK78 / DM20 / o-Kink) – Laser

2) It allows the Hiking/toe strap shock cord to be more easily & neatly separated from the traveller line, Hiking/toe strap adjustment line.

& 3) It additionally allows a drinks bottle to be neatly located in the after cockpit horizontally above the two Hiking/toe strap eye straps.
