Inspection hatch seal (O-ring only) – Funboat

The inspection hatch seal ring otherwise known as an O-ring can be changed separately.

The Funboat has three hatches in total – two forward, either side of the mast, & one centrally in the aft deck.

When replacing remove old seal & gently clean off any remains.

When fitting the new seal or O-ring take care not to stretch.
Silicone grease, Sailcoat or similar lubricant may be used to aid fitting but use sparingly. Clean off any excess to prevent it attracting dirt & it getting onto the thread.
