Grabrail, 1-piece (Grey) – Laser & Stratos

The Grab rail is plastic and attached by screws to the inboard sides of the cockpit.

Should it become broken or damaged it is usually a straight forward job to replace.
Usually it is a case of simply unscrewing the five screws holding the broken or damaged one in place, cleaning off the old silicone & screwing the new one back into place using the same screws with fresh silicone.
NB It is worth spending a few minutes to clean off the old silicone to unable the new grab rail to locate flush to the cockpit side.

The majority of Lasers have plastic grommets into which the screws locate but come of the later boats have a backing piece.

Should the grommets need replacing see:   Laser Hull fittings, Grommet set for grabrails (10 required – 5 per side)

Screws:   #10 x 1 1/2″ (A4 grade) 10 required – 5 per side
