Gnav strut – Bahia & Vago
The Gnav strut performs much the same task as the vang in that it acts to control the leach of the sail & keep the boom down.
However, it acts in compression rather than tension with the advantage of leaving more space for the crew below the boom.
The Gnav strut is supplied as an aluminum tube with both end fittings bur not the “slider”.
