Auto-bailer (Spring loaded) – Laser
The plastic Laser Bailer is a complete unit supplied with screw, seal, bung and fitting instructions.
The idea of the square of rubber is that it acts as the seal between the bailer & hull.
When the boat is initially being fitted out silicone is used to seal the bailer screw & it is probably better to continue with that practice.
However, the rubber seal allows you to carry a bailer in your spares box without the risk of the silicone “going off”.
